warren road residence
CLIENT: Private Residence
Forest Hill, Ontario

An approximate 7,000 sq. ft. custom renovated private residence located on a mature treed property. The landscape vision draws from the native surroundings creating a strong visual contrast between the clean lines of the classical architectural detailing and the relaxed form of the mature wooded rear boundary. Formal tree and shrub plant material contrasted by informal soft textured perennials were selected to accent the poolside resort atmosphere featuring an automated mechanical pool cover, sheer decent water feature, outdoor masonry barbeque island, loggia style covered seating area, built in whirlpool spa, and direct access to underground wine cellar and fitness facility.

msla's role: MSLA provided landscape architecture layout and planting plan concept development, and construction drawing production. Project bidding assistance, plant material procurement, and construction administration / observation services were also provided to ensure the construction and finished details met the design intent.
